I don't think the media can protect anyone from criticism, but I'm curious to know what media accounts you think contributed to this piece? That is the interesting question for me: does the media provide fodder for stuff like this, or did babygirl2448 just come up with it on her own? And, can you trace some of her "truths" back to the mainstream media? Or are the roots elsewhere?
